Bicycling in a safe environment can be done in the town of Front Royal on the 1/4 mile trail that meanders through the Happy Creek Park. It begins on Main Street at the Happy Creek Bridge. Mountain bikers an also utilize the many trails that are in the George Washington National Forest, located southwest of Front Royal. Cycling can also be done on Skyline Drive. A fee to enter Shenandoah National Park is required.
