We had a wonderful time here. The Chalet is beautiful inside & out. You did a GREAT job with the decorating!! We enjoyed the records a lot as well as the hot tub and fireplace. We really appreciate all the attention to the little details right down to the dog bowls and treats. We actually over-packed all we needed to bring was clothes and food! We also appreciated that you provide such a dog friendly place so that we could bring our four-legged family members with us on vacation. Thank you for everything. It was a wonderful getaway from the stress of everyday life. It was much needed! P.S. We loved the games too. Especially Boggle!
We walked in the Chalet the first day in the evening so we really didn't get to see the beautiful sight of the mountain until the next morning. We jumped out of our car and ran inside looking at the cabin first. We loved the coziness that came with this Chalet and how it made us feel at home. There were definitely creative touches; for instance the mirror in the kitchen, the comforter in the master bedroom the wall the same color in the loft as the downstairs, the big screen TV, and the beautiful open view from the inside to the outside. Not to mention the lights and candles that made it a getaway from everything. It was a great getaway to keep our minds off of things and enjoy each other. It made us think what really life is about. Between the great views of the mountain, downtown front royal, and the friendliness of the people, we will definitely be back again to enjoy the new Hot Tub Heaven III. Thanks for everything and we hope the next guests to visit love it as much as we did!
My wife and I booked this Chalet at the spur of the moment. I wanted to show her in no uncertain terms how much I enjoy her company... Hot Tub Heaven III did just that. ~ Everything from the winding roads, to the gravel driveway reminded us that we we were not in our usual surroundings. IT WAS AN ADVENTURE!! ~ The entrance into the Chalet was heightened by the pouring rain and of course the late arrival after securing our children in trusting hands. ~ The lighted mirror in the kitchen, the color scheme, the beautifully waxed wooden floors... oh!... the windows! PICTURESQUE, INVITING & JUST WHAT WE NEEDED. ~ Thank you for allowing us to rekindle our marriage in such a special place and even though it rained both days of our stay... we were both happy to be here. ~ My wife loved the loft, the romantic collection of creative, wild, jazzy and stylish LP's. ~ We will be back to the Chalet... either I, II or of course our friend III. ~ Hats off to you for the stylish decor... a smattering of unique fixtures echo "RELAX." This was a terrific experience and one worth repeating again and again.
My husband and our dogs had a great time ! We were celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary, and found your cabin to be the perfect home-away-from-home. We really enjoyed the deck and the hot tub. The fenced in yard was the perfect place for our dogs to run and explore. Thanks for helping us to make our one-year anniversary memorable !
Our entire family, including our two Labs had a wonderful and relaxing week. The Chalet is charming and inviting and well stocked with everything we needed. We all loved the hot tub!!! We had terrific weather and Shenandoah Valley is simply MAGNIFICENT! This is our favorite area to come to and we all voted "YES" to returning to Hot Tub Heaven III. Thanks for all the little extras. It is really a lovely place.
We loved the Chalet - such bright & cheery décor. The albums were great to listen to. Of course, we loved the hot tub! The view is beautiful! This escape from suburbia was wonderful!
Happy Valentines Day! All I have to say is WOW to & everything! My husband & I came with his brother and his wife. It was our 11th Anniversary on 2/13. You certainly pulled out all the stops. We walked in and ran through here looking around in amazement! Everything was WONDERFUL! We had the best time celebrating our years of being together in the company of others. We will be back when it's their anniversary in the fall to HTH #3. Thank you for the late night directions!
Thank you for sharing your home! Great record collection! We had everything at our disposal - we really did only need to bring our clothes and some groceries. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the snow! We will definitely be back in the Spring. And we loved the view from the loft bedroom!!!
This is s a great place! We very much enjoyed getting away from it all without having to get away from our dogs. We loved listening to some of our favorites on vinyl and the dogs loved getting into everything. We loved it and will be back with our human and canine friends again!

We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at Hot Tub Heaven III! We were unprepared for the bucolic splendor hat greeted us as we made our way through the Virginia mountains. Thank you for sharing your Chalet with us (& Kudos to the "interior design team. We'll certainly be back!!!

Happy New Year! Thanks for a wonderful stay. We couldn't have hoped for a better place to ring in the New Year. The hot tub, the house, the crackling fire - we could stay forever! The only bad thing about the place is that the hot tub was so "PERFECT!" It has made my wife so relaxed she is trying to talk me into getting one for ourselves. But I think we will just have to return to the Chalet for that kind of relaxation. Thank you for a great time!!!!!

We certainly enjoyed it, out on the deck in 19° - in the hot tub. It was very romantic, with all the stars out late at night. The Chalet was so much like being home. We have really enjoyed our short stay here. But we will be back. That's for sure. The fireplace was nice and warm on our cold days & nights. The decorations here were just right. We love it! What a beautiful cabin?! Very classy. The music albums are awesome! We are from Ashburn, VA and needed some place and Hot Tub Heaven did the trick! We'll be back!!!
We had a wonderful time. It was nice to leave the farm behind for a couple of days. Only brought 1 of our 5 dogs - left behind 4 dogs, 6 horses, 2 cats, 7 goats and 2 cows! Wow! It was nice and relaxing and we have 3 ½ year old twin boys and they had a BLAST! We managed to family time and romance all in one weekend. PS If you're ever in our neck of the woods - look us up.
We had a wonderful time! We especially enjoyed the décor, painting and furniture inside the Chalet. Of course, we LOVED the hot tub and found it difficult to get out. The fireplace was beautiful as well as the scenery. The records and DVD player were nice touches and the board games helped us pass the time on rainy days. The rooms are very comfortable. It is very convenient because of the basic staple foods you've provided. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation! PS We loved the bathroom décor especially. P.S.S. We would love to come back soon. From the first to last moment we were here we were completely charmed by your Chalet. Being a lover of bright colors and having continually traveled for 18 months in 'beige' hotels, my fancies were tickled to get to sleep in a blue bedroom with lovely hand painted stools and groovy lighting. Every amenity has been so carefully thought out from the beautiful forest view, to the hot tub, the great deck, excellent grill, outdoor deck, to the lovely open living room, the huge TV to the completely stocked kitchen &&&&&&&&&&… we loved it!!!!!!!!!!!! I know if we're ever back this way from Texas this is where we'll stay!

Your diligence for extra effort and personal attention was not only gratifying but refreshing! Keep that heart!! From the 'Off' repellent spray to the birth of the Chalet in the photo album; stay personally invested. Between the vinyl records, lava lamp, incense and mood lights and beautiful plants and candles becomes a commitment to GROOVY!
A nice, long weekend to spend together and a nice place to spend it! The 22nd of May was our 5th anniversary. We left our two children with their grandparents. We relaxed, canoed, shopped, drove part of Skyline Drive and hiked. We had most of our meals here at the Chalet. We enjoyed delicious grilled food. The hot tub was fun. My favorite part of the Chalet was all the plants. They are nice and healthy. Keep it up! I grew up in the woods and we now live on a semi-wooded lot. But we never tire of trees! Thanks for sharing this place with us!!!
What a wonderful place - a beautiful home! The décor was both creative and comfortable. In fact, I made a few mental notes for my own home. My husband enjoyed the solitude, golfing at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, and (need I say it) the big screen TV. Uther was most grateful for the dog biscuits and Mattie gave two paws up for the "the best sniff and search yard in Front Royal". The hot tub, the albums and turn table - the board games. Serenity and relaxation were just what the doctor prescribed, and HTH #3 filled that prescription and then some! The four of us had a most enjoyable time. The two of us that are human enjoyed the comforts inside, while the tow of us that are canines enjoyed frolicking around outside. We wish you all the best and Happy 4th of July!
We were very happy to celebrate our 2nd anniversary in this perfect Chalet as its very first guests! The Oasis Winery is certainly good and the new winery on Blue Mountain, Fox Meadow was really good. Plus, it's right down the road. We had a very romantic weekend and we will back soon!
We very much enjoyed our stay! You have an excellent music collection. My husband and I have been married 4 years and are still very much in love. This place reminded us of how lucky we were to find each other... and this place!!!
Our first night was wonderful; I slept so well with the fresh mountain air - so crisp and clean. The bed was comfortable and the place was so clean! Everything you needed was here. So planned out and thoughtful! I like the directions to all the places and the candles and the plants make it so warm and cozy! It was decorated so cute and my dogs are loving it as much as we are. We liked it so much we stayed for the weekend too - luckily it was available! Luray Caverns is a must see. I especially like the book of things to do and the restaurants to visit. Who ever thought of putting this book together was a genius! We will be back in September for sure and will tell friends of this place! Thank you!
We had a lovely stay. Wine country was beautiful. Oliver loved canoeing and Fiona had a great time chasing the crickets in the yard. The property is beautiful and the hot tub is soooo relaxing!!! Thanks for letting us bring the whole family!

We celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary here in your cozy mountain retreat. Thank you for providing such a wonderful "get-away" spot and for enabling us to bring our "baby" Sophie. She loved going for walks and saying hi to all the wildlife.

Hot Tub Heaven lives up to its name. You've put a lot of time and effort into the Chalet and it shows! My last morning here and it's warm enough for coffee on the deck - yea. I love that your neighbors wave when they drive by, love the hot tub, love the independent film channel, which I don't get at home. I came, I saw, I napped - my new motto!
Wonderful piece of mountain paradise! The massage was amazing and Cheryl should be awarded saint status! There is nothing better than the hot tub on a cold night… certainly put me in my happy place.
What a great place to stay! Words cannot describe the fun we had staying at this Chalet! From décor to its charm it is absolutely perfect! You have thought of everything and we thank you for that. This was our first family vacation and we had a ball!!! :o) Our toddler son, Dante, loved riding the little train at Skyline Caverns, Dinosaurland, the petting zoo, Fantasy playground and fishing at the Shenandoah River Park. This was a wonderful relaxing vacation! The Chalet was great. Decorated very unique! We loved it! We will tell our friends for a quiet & relaxing vacation they must visit HTH! The hot tub felt great! From
the moment we walked through the door we were transformed! We felt like we were
in our twenties! The album, the papa-son chair, not to mention all the décor
and candles - all this and the hot tub - sooooo cool! And you didn't miss a touch,
like the ample supply of tea light candles. This week started out as a get away
from our house being renovated, but it became much more - thanks for a very relaxing
"time out" in your "hip" chalet! P.S. This place is so calming
even our hyper Corgi chilled out!!!!
My
husband out did himself with the best birthday present. Honestly, after all the
holiday rush this was the greatest spot for some RR. Your home is so wonderful.
My daughters made their room their own special place. The whole mini-vacation
was so "cozy" that our entire family had some peace and quiet. Our 3
& 6 year old were much calmer especially during their time looking for sticks
in the woods. Lots of smores / roasted marshmallows eaten in front of the fireplace.
We planned to go out during our stay but ended up staying IN! Love this home and
we'll definitely recommend it to friends, family and clients. Thank you for letting
us stay in your home! Loved the whole layout and set up ! See you next time. Hopefully
we'll stay longer and maybe during the summer!
It
has been several years since our last visit but things were just as wonderful.
We actually had snow the second day we were here. Only about an inch but it was
so amazing to watch from inside next to the fire and outside in the hot tub! We
had a relaxing time which was well needed after the holidays! Only wish we could
stay longer. Thanks for providing such a beautiful retreat and allowing us to
bring our furry family with us! They had a blast as well!
WE only drove 50 miles to get here, but it felt like we were in another world! It's nice to know HTH is here - because I know we will be returning again and again... Thanks for everything! P.S. Daisy had a fabulous time too. She enjoyed watching the deer from the deck!!

The end of our stay is here and I must say I loved it! The Chalet is beautiful and very well equipped. I loved all the charming decorating touches - where do you find all of those pretty colored bottles? The hot tub was nice but the rain kept from using it as much as we'd liked. I thought I might get bored after two weeks but we have become champion relaxers. Being city dogs, Molly & Frodo had a great time & really appreciated the yard. I don't know why I packed so many toys and bones for them - they were quite happy eating and playing with rocks, twigs, and leaves… they thought the cicadas were an especially tasty treat. Shenandoah National Parks is highly recommended - like visiting heaven. Thanks again for a great vacation.

Arrived
at 4pm on a cool sunny afternoon in June and we just finished taking in the cabin
and yard. Everyone loves the décor and secluded porch. I think we'll all
enjoy our week here. It is so much more than I was expecting. Well, it's day five
now and we're packing to leave. We had a wonderful time. The hot tub was great.
An awesome way to end the day; beautiful scenery too. Nice house or Chalet. Only
one thing missing, Scott, God Bless you Baby be safe. Thank you Deneane &

We loved the cozy feel of this Chalet and breathed a sigh of relief when we saw how clean it was!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and though we didn't get to go hiking because of the rain, it was truly an ethereal sight, seeing the woods shrouded in mist and hearing the call of the birds. I was thrilled to see candles for us to burn - something I considered a necessity. Thank you again!

My husband and I really enjoyed our time here together! The hot tub was soooo relaxing. Virginia really is for lovers! We found a new park for hiking and picture taking and it is a real GEM! It's t he Shenandoah River State Park. Just outside of Front Royal on 340 South. Check it out - we loved it!

I read online in the other guests' testimonials how "relaxing" the Chalet was and I promised myself I wouldn't write that - but there's no other way to describe our week here! It's a great getaway from the city and the colors in the house just compliment the relaxation and warmness. The hot tub, of course, was amazing and when we walked through the door for the first time it was gorgeous. We'll be back soon!!!
Thanks for a fantastic stay! Cheryl's massages are wonderful! Have her set up her table on the deck (weather permitting) and you won't be sorry! She was fantastic - and if you meet her - tell her we say hello! We enjoyed the vineyards - Oasis and Fox Meadow. Shenandoah River Trips is the way to go on the River - ask Edith about the "late option" and she even get the local birds to sing to you! To future guests - enjoy your stay and if you plan to do any fishing get Helaamites for bait.
'Hot Tub Heaven' what a perfect name! We had such a great relaxing vacation. The cabin is SO comfortable. We loved the welcoming touches, the music and the throw blankets. Deneane and Tom, your cabin is awesome! We totally did not expect it to be THIS nice!!!! Everything was perfect. My husband and I had the most wonderful time here. This place really is like heaven. Thank you for sharing your things with us. This place is fully equipped with all the necessities. We have already talked about coming back one of these days. I hate to leave here but I guess I need to get back to "real life" at my home with kids, work, etc. This was the best vacation ever!! Finally after much delay we arrived at Hot Tub Heaven #3!!! After having such a wonderful time at the first one, HTH #1, we decided to come back. The overlook is just gorgeous! Especially at sunrise & sunset. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful chalet for another year! We hope to return again next year! Thanks for everything! :o)
Just married!!!! (Day 1) We drove in on I-95 and it rained the entire day. But we finally made it. Arriving we found a cozy, neat little house. Just right for us!!! We really like the décor and arrangements… you guys did a great job! We were very pleasantly surprised. I have already enjoyed my stay… I speak for both of us. I am confident in saying we will make a return visit soon. (Last day) We have both enjoyed our stay. We hate to go!!!! The place is beautiful. We've already agreed to come back for a future anniversary. There were so many little extras… Every time I turned around I said, "Look honey, they even have this for us to use!" Thank you so much for helping us to have such a wonderful honeymoon.
